The Manifesto
A digital work never yellows, never cracks, never hangs in the wrong light. We curate pieces built to outlive their medium — art that exists as pure signal, yet holds a room as surely as bronze.
Fewer works, chosen harder. Every piece in this catalogue survives a three-stage review — concept, craft, consequence — before it earns a wall. We would rather show nine works that matter than ninety that merely fill.
Editions, histories and certificates travel with the work. Every collector receives full documentation at the moment of acquisition — verifiable, permanent, and never more than a request away.
The gallery is a building made of attention. We design our rooms — public pavilions, encrypted vaults — the way architects design museums: for slowness, for reverence, for the single long look.
Nothing here is static. Works enter private collections, vaults open and close, the season turns. The archive breathes — and those on our list are told first when it exhales.
The Curator
Formerly of the Tate's digital programme, Dr. Vane founded The Obsidian Gallery in 2024 to give machine-made art the same gravity as marble. She reviews every work personally, answers every collector's letter, and keeps the vault codes handwritten in a ledger in Mayfair.
"A gallery is not a shop. It is a promise about what deserves your attention."
